13. “The Earth Laughs in Flowers”

For the past 9 days my family and I have been traveling from Florida to Washington State. My niece and I have been collecting wildflowers along the way. So far we’ve collected over 70. I’m sketching flowers while she presses them. I noticed how much laughter there is in picking wildflowers and decided Ralph Waldo Emerson’s quote fit perfectly for this post title.
